The Aspiring Authors Apprenticeship Program
Starting July 1, 2020, we are officially kicking off our Aspiring Authors Apprenticeship Program! Through this program, aspiring and established authors alike can gain valuable experience and insights into the behind-the-scenes of the publishing industry.

Description
The Muñoz Publishing House is looking for qualified interns to join our team. We hope to revamp the publishing industry throughout contemporary traditional publishing systems meanwhile supporting aspiring authors and indie creators. This intern should be prepared to work in a fast-paced team environment and will finish the internship having gained broad experience in the various behind-the-scenes aspects of the publishing industry.
Responsibilities
Assist in the creation and distribution of signage, circulars, mockups, email campaigns, online promotion, etc.
Prepare and analyze MPH promotional and sales materials both on and offline
Seek and analyze competitor promotional and sales materials both on and offline
Seek opportunities for networking and growth
Monitor the publishing industry and social media for trending topics to utilize on social media channels
Research and author articles based on trending topics for publication
Research and author articles based on interests for publication
Requirements
High school diploma or higher
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of social media and popular trends
Driven and hard-working
Ability to take direction and multi-task
Knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Knowledge of Google Docs, Slides, and Sheets
Interest in the publishing industry and literary world
Has access to a computer & phone and is willing to work remote
